How we help employers

  • Finding suitable duties

We look across your workplace for productive duties that fit the medical restrictions, and put them in a clear written plan.

  • Support for your return to work coordinator

Practical guidance on recover at work plans and communication with the worker, doctor and insurer.

  • On-site visits

We come to your site to understand the work and support the worker and supervisor in person.

  • Equipment and modifications

Recommendations for equipment or changes that make duties safe, including SIRA-funded options where eligible.

  • Help when things get hard

When there’s conflict, low confidence or a return that has stalled, we help get it back on track.

Why recovering at work matters

Staying connected to work supports recovery, protects your team and keeps experience in your business.

Workers who stay active and connected tend to recover sooner. For employers, an early, well-supported return reduces disruption, keeps skills in the business and can help manage the impact of a claim.

Employer questions

Can we choose IVARA as our provider?

Yes. Employers can ask their workers compensation insurer to use IVARA. The insurer arranges the referral and approves services. You can also send us a referral directly and we will contact the insurer.

What does it cost us?

Approved workplace rehabilitation services are paid by the insurer as part of the claim, so there is no direct cost to you.

We're a small business with limited duties. Can you still help?

Yes. Small businesses often have more options than they first think, such as reduced hours, task changes or temporary support roles. We'll work through them with you.

Have an injured team member?

Send us the details and we'll contact you, your worker and your insurer within 24 hours.
